Waterproof sunscreen protects your skin and is essential if your aquatic fitness takes place in an outdoor pool. I’ve tried a ton of different brands, and have a few favorite water resistant sunscreens for pool workouts. I look for:

What that means is that you get immediate protection from a barrier that acts like little mirrors reflecting off both UVA and UVB rays. Unlike some zinc products, it rubs in clear and does not leave a sticky white film all over. And this brand stays on and lasts, even in water. Surfers love it. It costs a bit more than bargain brands, but a little goes a long way. Put a small amount on, rub it in well, and you are good to jump in the pool and forget about it for at least an hour or even two.
